We left price right on schedule (ya right, we had a flat tire as we were leaving) after 10 or so stops in Provo we were really on our way. The kids started wondering if we were ever going to get there at about the half way point. Our stay in Idaho was nice. We didn't have much time to visit with everybody, we were constantly busy, though we did try to get chad some shoes, that we ended up taking back the next day. It took us a long time to get going on the next part of the trip. After returning the shoes and a couple times of turning around to find where we were going for food we were off to the Lava Caves, Oh pit stop at the Sashonni Ice caves and store. The store took as long as the cave tour, we didn't want to get all the kids out so we take turns looking at every thing. It's now starting to get later we needed to get to the Lava caves. We're only an hour after the museum closes when we get there. We drove around, hiked and ran around to see what we wanted before it gets dark. Now we are driving through the dark, sam is choking on a piece of plastic from his cheese stick. We got it out!! But the three of us now need to change our clothes, thanks sammy. (I did get a new hoody) We get to the hotel late, this is a bummer because it was nice. (thanks mom. Happy B-day to me!)

It's hard taking a vacation with little ones, but you'll always be glad you took the effort. Looks like it was a lot of fun.
I'd love to go to Yellowstone, but I'm not sure I would take young kids. It is too much time spent in the car. When they get a little older, I think I'm going to try to convince Griffie that he does love camping and head up that way! Your pictures are beautiful!
We are going private. If you'd like to follow our blog post your email address and I'll send you an invite. (I'll delete it as soon as I get it)
